Know No Know
Community Guidelines
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Know No Know exists for one thing: a real conversation with a friend, once a day. Every call
happens between people who chose each other — there are no strangers here. These guidelines
keep it that way.
The basics
- You must be 13 or older to use Know No Know.
- Be the person your friends said yes to. Calls connect mutual friends only — treat that
trust accordingly.
- One account, your real self. Don't impersonate people or misrepresent who you are.
Never allowed
- Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or threats — on calls, in answer cards, in usernames,
or in photos.
- Nudity or sexual content of any kind on calls or in photos. Zero tolerance where minors
are involved, including reporting to authorities.
- Violence, gore, or content that promotes self-harm.
- Illegal activity, or using the app to arrange it.
- Recording, screenshotting, or sharing someone from a call without their consent. The
built-in candid feature is consent-based — respect the answer.
- Spam, scams, or commercial solicitation.
Your tools
Block — from any call (••• menu) or Settings → Safety. Blocking someone
means you will never be paired with them again, effective immediately.
Report — from any call or Settings → Report a Problem. Reports can include a
specific photo. Reporting also removes that person from your pairing pool.
Delete — any candid photo from your calls can be deleted by either
participant, any time.
What we do about violations
We review reports promptly — typically within 24 hours. Depending on severity, we remove
offenders from matching, remove content, suspend or permanently ban accounts, and where the law
requires it, involve authorities. When you accepted our in-app agreement, you agreed to this
zero-tolerance standard.
A note on spirit
Rules cover the floor, not the point. The point: show up, be curious, let eight minutes with
someone you care about actually count.
